A few days to go

Just a few more days, and our adventure is about to kick off for real! We're counting down together with everyone. The suitcases are almost packed - seriously, who would've thought we could gather so much stuff in these 7.5 years here?! Next year, we've set ourselves one simple goal: not to cram half the house again. I bet that's going to be an epic challenge...

Besides packing and tidying up, we're also trying to have some fun with the kids. We've already celebrated Lily's birthday at the Goldfish (no real fish involved, by the way). We've gone out for a fancy dinner, given the neighbors the best hugs ever, and the kids had one last mega play session with their buddies.

We can feel it getting really close now, and Maya and Reef are realizing that they'll have to miss their family, friends, and school for a while. That's not easy!
Oh yeah, the new tenants have arrived. They're temporarily staying in the Lodge, so we can hand over the keys and get to know each other a bit better.

But hey, before we go, let's enjoy our (for now) last weekend in the Netherlands (of course, with the hot tub in action). And then, on Tuesday, August 8th, we'll take off around 3:30 in the afternoon. First to Taiwan, and then a hop, skip, and a jump to Auckland, New Zealand!
